Fav Book....What is your fav Harry Potter Book, and why?? Here we can discuss the Harry Potter books and tell ppl y u liked them and what one was your fav!
I like them all, really I can't pick!! I like OotP... no HBP... No GoF! ROAR see i can't pick, they are all really good it's not fair... I would have to say the HBP tho... I mean it was sad and all, but, like... I can't explain... I just really liked it... I liked them all but I reallly liked the HBP... I have tonz of Q's b/c of it and I like a book to keep me asking Q's... so I guess that is y... but that could go the same for the OotP... I dunno.. I can't pick!! lol...

I voted for The Order of the Pheonix. To me, it's the most dark. And it also had a wicked battle at the end. It was sad (The ending). But, the whole book was cool. It was the longest and that's good because I didn't want to finish it! At first, my favourite was The Goblet of Fire, but when I read this one I thought it was the best! The Half-Blood Prince was okay. I didn't like the ending. And there wasn't any Voldemort in it!

Yea having no Voldemort in the books are ppls main reasons for not likeing them.. But I find that a stupid excuse ((no offence))... Just b/c it's a Harry Potter book doesn't mean that it HAS to have him in it...
I agree that the 5th book was darker, and I liked that about it... and that is another reason y I couldn't decide about what one I liked the most.... lol

It is a Harry Potter book and that DOES mean that it has to have Voldemort in it. He is the second main charecter in the book and not having him or having little of him just makes it boring. I like HBP because as stated before it left me questions and all that. I also liked how it killed Dumbledore, I mean that is sad and all but it is a big part in the book. Plus I didnt see that coming.

well I kno that... but I mean, Harry Potter isn't JUST about Voldemort.. I kno he is an important part of it and everything... but if it had him in it the whole time, it would all just be fighting and junk... and we need to know other things then just fighting... if that made n e sense please tell me... b/c it didn't to me... lol...

The thing did make sense to me. I mean yea we dont need fighting but a book without Voldie is just not a book......I like the action or information but it should have Voldie.

I can't believe Dumbledore got killed in the last book by Snape. It was sad, because Dumbledore could believe it and didn't want to accept it.

Well some, me, believe that DD asked Snape to kill him. It is sad that DD did die but it was needed.

We will not truly know until the release of the seventh book. I can not wait for this book to come out. It should be really good, even though it will be shorter than OotP.

NO JK stated that it is going to be shorter that OotP and possibly HBP. This is wierd because I dont know how she will fit all that she needs to in such a short book! Of course that doesnt mean that it would be because HBP was supposed to be about the same length as GoF and look at that one!

Personally I think they are all short... But I agree, how is she gunna fit all that she needs to fit, in to a book that is smaller then thos?? I mean come on.. you can't tell me she is gunna finish the series with a SHORT book?? How can you??

I dont know.....I mean even the closing of my small writings are the longest. I would think with all that she needs to put into it that it would be like a million pages, lol!

It just has to be the best one! If it isn't I would be angry. But, I'm positive that it's going to be awesome! Because all Harry Potter books are wicked. Not like the movies, where they let us down on some. But, it's going to be the book we've been waiting to read for so long. I can't wait and I can't believe that it's the 7th book already! I wonder what it's going to be called.

Yea.... I hope it's not named like Harrp Potter the last chapter or something stupid like that...I hate when ppl do that... I mean, yea it's the last book, so you have to name it the last stand or the last chapter or something?? but yea... lol..
hmm... I think I would take the time to read an 1,000,000 page book if it was the last one in the HP series... woudln't you??

Yea....I just dont want the book to end. It would be cool for her to make a book that every time you got close to the end like more pages appeared or something.

Haha yea that would be cool. You know as much as she has made up about the wizarding world it makes me wonder if JK really is a witch or something. Maybe like every so ofter the wizarding world exposes itself secretly to the muggles so they can say they tried to let us know about them.

But yeaaaa.... Maybe that did happen and JK just believed someone, and then wrote a book about some of the stuff she found out... ya kno?? lol.. that would be great...

Because it was a ponitless post. I should have gone more in depth.
I like 4 because that is when everything falls apart. It it the same reason why I like Star Wars 5 the most.

Yes that is what I was looking for. I am sorry if you thought that was too harsh but tis the rules that you make your post mean something. My favorite book has changed though because I reread OotP. I have found that I like OotP better because when I compare it to the other two there is no comparison. OotP is the most action filled, violent, and sad books all in one.

Not harsh at all, it was a pointless post.
OoTP was my second least favorite. My least favorite is The Chamber of Secrets. Here's my list:
