Fav MovieWhat is your fav movie??? Tell us all what you liked about all the movies and what one is your fav!!
Mine would have to be the 2nd movie... I like it b/c I think it was the movie that showed the most from the books... I kno it missed alot too but I think it did show the most... I like the first one too and that one did show alot aswell, but I think that the second one was still the best..
I didn't much like the third and fourth one as much b/c I don't like they way the new director did things... but that isn't the point..
so tell us, what's your fav movie, and y?!?

I voted for The Goblet of Fire. The first two were really good. But, I didn't like The Prisoner of Azkaban as much. It was too short and the director, I didn't like him. But, The Goblet of Fire was the best! I especially liked the ending!

One thing I didn't like about the GoF is that it had a little to much stuff in it that either didn't happen in the book, stuff that lasted to long that shoudln't have, and they missed out on alot... I mean, b/c the didn't do the whole exposing Rita thing, how are they gunna pull off the story she is supposed to wright?? makes no sense to me...

Yea that will be hard to do, I cant believe that they left unmasking Rita out of it. I am sure that they will come up with something though. I would have to say that CoS is my favorite. It did have more of the books than any of the other movies, and I liked how they did the basalisk. Really the only thing that I did like about the third and fourth movie is that Hermione got really pretty all the sudden.

Yeaaaah Hermione did get pretty. But Ron ((Rupert)) grew his hair out!! So I think all of the Actors "grew up" in the 3-4th movies... ya kno??

I heart Ron, don't diss the Ron... lmao... I like Fread and George too tho... they make me laugh... and I would sooo go to the yule ball with them.. lol... ((go me, I kno I am special))
They realllllllly grew up in the 4th movie... I like that movie mainly just to see the characters! lol

Ron is too goofy looking, and I am also. This I already knew.....but you should see my gf she is the GOOFIEST ever. I mean she makes Voldemort look cute.
Anyway I am way better than Krum and Hermione would so want me.

and Ron is sooo not goofy looking... And if he is then SOME ppl like the goofy looking type!!
Hermione would soooo not want you... I mean if she has Krum, she wouldn't want you.... duhhhh.....

well, my favorite one is Prisoner of Azkaban... why? well...
1. it's the most stylish and better filmed
2. photography is GREAT (full of blacks and darkness)
3. I love the tone
4. better acting than in the previous two
5. more compact and better pacing
and...
6. I don't complain about the lack of "fidelity" towards the book... why? well, I understand the fact that books and movies are two very different media, and that a movie CANNOT be exactly like the book... in that case, better go and read the book and don't watch the movie... that's why it's BASED on the book... besides, the point is that it's a vert interesting, entertaining and well-made movie... =)

Ok so you have made your point GG.  I just think that they should have added a LITTLE more to the movies from the books. I mean all other book based movies at least mostly resemble the books.

that would have ruined the pacing of the movie, probably...
besides, it's a Harry Potter movie... of course it had a lot from the books... <.< they couldn't add more, because they would have added an entire subplot - not just bits or pieces - and the movie would have been TOO long :S

Well I wouldnt mind the movies being a little longer if it added stuff to it that they left out. Also, if they shortened the Yule Ball and stuff they could add extra. The Yule Ball was way too long and could have been cut in like half.

I mean it wasnt even that important in the book. The only thing that they should have shown was the beginning dance and Ron and Hermione's argument. Other than that it was a waste of time!

I also think that they should added the fight between Hagrid and MM... I mean... come one... that was a realllllllllly funny/important-ish part!!!

Well they should have added that whole scene because it is going to be hard to cover up in the next book. I mean how are we going to find out what happened to Rita Skeeter?

I think that was mentioned earlier... lol... but yea... I mean, they could just get her to write the story, but I don't think they could get her to do it for they Quibbler ((sp?)) and like, if she does do it, she'll prbly want something outa it.... I dunno... they should get their butts chewed out for that one.... I reallllly think they need to read the book after the book of the movie they are filming, just to see if they left this part out, how will it effect the next movie ect. ect... ya kno??
